White Rock Veterinary Hospital has one purpose: to provide the highest quality veterinary care to our patients and exceptional service to our clients. We know that the cats and dogs brought to our hospital are, in a very real sense, members of your family.
Our hospital is accredited by both the College of Veterinarians of British Columbia (CVBC) and the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). AAHA membership is voluntary and requires that White Rock Veterinary Hospital meets and maintains the highest standards in all aspects of veterinary care. Only a small percentage of veterinary hospitals in North America achieve AAHA accreditation. White Rock Veterinary Hospital has been an AAHA member since 1987!

Dr. White brings experience from Scotland, Ontario, and now BC! She focuses on making vet visits as positive as possible for pets, with a strong interest in preventative care.
At home, she enjoys time with her adorable Ragdoll, Lottie.

Preventative medicine
The best way to manage illness is to prevent it. We can advise you on the proper nutrition and weight management strategies and help you choose a vaccine protocol that works for your pet and their specific risk factors.
Dental care
Pets need dental care too. Daily brushing or the use of a proven dental care diet is ideal but, in many situations, this is not possible. When required, we can perform a full dental cleaning and assessment.
Surgery
We provide a wide array of surgical services. By spaying our female pets and neutering our males we keep them healthier, avoiding unwanted behaviours, certain cancers, infections and the potential complications of unplanned pregnancies.
Radiology
Radiology lets us see what’s going on inside your pet without any guesswork. We use quick, safe X-rays to check for things like broken bones, swallowed objects, or internal issues, so we can treat problems faster and more accurately.
Dietary counselling
The choice of pet food can impact the health of your pet. We’ll advise you regarding all the life stages your pet will journey through and what choices should be made when it comes to optimizing their health.
End of life care
Making the decision to say goodbye to a beloved pet is incredibly difficult. However, we will assist you in the process. We’ll guide you through the first stages of the decision, outline the procedural details and review all the available options for after care.
